Important things to know

Can I take the skills on different days?

No. The selected CELPIP test is completed in one sitting, and there is no separate Speaking session.

Does CELPIP-General LS include Reading and Writing?

No. General LS assesses Listening and Speaking only. The four-skill CELPIP-General test includes Reading and Writing.

Are all Listening and Reading questions scored?

The official test may include unscored Listening or Reading items used for test development. They look like scored items and may appear anywhere, so learners should give their best effort throughout.

Which test should I book?

Choose the test specifically required by the immigration authority, licensing body, educational institution or other organization receiving your score. Requirements can change, so verify them before paying.
